I used to be pleased with simple things
I used to be happy with the smallest toys
I used to dance to every song
But I am older now
I used to ask the lamest questions
Clearing every doubt I had
I used to be curious to see the world
But I am older now
I used to smile at a little insect
And used to respect the nature around me
I used to be humble
But I am older now
I used to cry around
I used to make others laugh
And each word I said, would make them smile
But I am older now
I wish to be young again
Unknowing of the horrors of the world
With my parents at my side
I will make others laugh and smile
Lovely.
This poem is loving and a great poem that I read over again everyday.
Thank you so much
