Ode to My Toothbrush

by Emri aged 12

You’re always there when I need you most.
You always keep my teeth super clean.
You even brush my really tiny teeth.
One time I dropped my old toothbrush in the toilet. It went plop!
So that’s when I went to the store and met you.
You just love to brush teeth. I don’t know why because I find that gross.
I love you because you’re white with a little bit of pink.
I use you morning at night. And you’re always in the same place.
Thanks for never running away from my bathroom.
Tell your friend toothpaste I say Hi.
You’re so skinny I can even hold you in my hand.
You have saved me from having bad breath and I can’t thank you enough.
You are one of the most important things in my life.
You’re a really good friend.
So thanks toothbrush, for keeping my teeth clean.
