Oceans

by Bernice Anaset aged 9

Break, break, break,
On thy cold gray stones, O sea!
And I would that my tongue could utter
The thoughts that arise in me. I can hear the birds
Singing and tweeting in the sky
The oceans are glittering in the moonlight

Hi Bernice. You do know that the first four lines of your poem are by the famous poet Alfred Lord Tennyson. It’s okay to use a famous line as a starting point for your poem, but a whole verse is probably a bit much.
