The Ocean
There it swayed,
In the glistening moonlight,
Rocking back and forth, back and forth.
The way the waves playfully lapped all across the mystical landscape,
It was as if they had been wishing to trance you…
The shimmering patterns each wave produced,
None quite like the other, had began to pound against each other;
Each a deafening roar, transforming into huge beasts one could never Imagine, diabolical when heaving with anger,
Crushing magnificent rocks into minuscule pebbles,
Which skimmed the vast waves.
The unrest in the outraged sea, would frighten even the bravest of watchers.
But suddenly, as if by magic,
The tempestuous ocean died down into the soothing, idyllic, picturesque scene it once was;
And you could once more hear the ocean forging its own sea-song,
The waves oozing onto the cream coloured sand of the beach,
Enticing the children into the majestic paradise it is known for.
