There was once a little girl called Jess
One day her dad called her
Jess, Jess, he said,
Your grandad sent you a letter.
Jess said, Read it! Read it!
Dad said all right, to Jess.
“Jess, you are a very gentle person.
Will you look after my nutcracker?
What you do, is put a nut in it and pull the lever.”
But her mum called her,
Jess, Jess, it’s time for bed.
