I wake up in the morning and don’t want to get out of bed
So I yell to my mother, don’t wake me up out of bed.
Then she runs up the stairs and comes in my room

and hauls the covers off me.

So then she says breakfast is getting cold,
so I get up out of bed and trip down the stairs.
I get down to the table and she’s made bacon and eggs.
When I look at the time, it is only 7:00,
So I ran back up the stairs because it is way too early.
I yell to her – I have school at 9:30. (one hour later)
It is time for school by now, so I got dressed and make my bed.
Then I brush my hair, and the comb gets stuck in my head.
I am finally at school, and I hear no buses, no cars.
This is awfully weird.
I discover it is Sunday, no school today.
Then I go home and sleep for the rest of the day.
