When I was one life was fun
When I was two I learnt to put on my shoe
When I was three I planted my first tree
When I was four I could knock at the door
When I was five I learnt how to survive
When I was six I could do cool tricks
When I was seven my best friend was eleven
When I was eight I loved to celebrate

I’m really enjoying your poems, Kaitlyn. I like this one as it has a structure. I think you tend to rush all your words out at once. Take a little time. Check stuff through. After I’ve written a poem I leave it a couple of days, then come back to it, see how I can improve it, But DO keep writing. You’re doing good work.
