Mrs Grumpadoodle

by Sienna aged 9

I have a new neighbour her name is Mrs Sprout,
she is quite grumpy and a bit of a grouch,
Whenever I play outside,
she always uses her big beady eyes

She does give me nightmares because of her age,
if your wondering she is 88
Everyone calls her Mrs Grumpadoodle,
to be honest she is quite very grumpy,
and she eats tinned noodles

She lives in a small crooked house,
everyone says it’s haunted
by the ghost of her old poodle
Everyday she wears the same a big furry blouse
and we call her Mrs Grumpadoodle

Hi Sienna. Love the poem. I hope you don’t mind, but it ended a bit suddenly. So I added the line about the poodle.
This meant I could then add a last line that rhymed, and ended the poem nicely.
