Memories

by Tobias Dack aged 11

Looking back
All those years ago
So many locked up feelings
Regrets for my poor decisions
Loathing my selfishness
A weight on my shoulders
A struggle to keep on standing
But sometimes they lift me up
With the joy of reminiscing
Like two sides of the same coin
Which way will it fall for me?

    Great poem Tobias.
Personal memories are always so contrasting, and looking back there will always be regrets, joy and sadness.
We have to find our own way to live with them all and learn from them all. Because sometimes you never quite know which side the coin will fall.
    WELL DONE, keep writing.
