In a sunny field,
Sat on the grass and leaves,
Children toddling around me,
Dressed in sweet blue dungarees,

You chasing them around,
Laughter echoing from their mouths,
Me painting the beautiful scene,
Our future memories painted permanently,

Our dog is racing around,
Joining in with the fantastic game,
Eventually tackling everyone to the ground,
But still laughter all the same,

A picnic is layed out in front of us,
Lots of sweets and treats to eat,
Smiles playing upon everyone’s lips,
A happy sight to see,

Wild flowers are growing around us,
Making everything seemingly brighter,
Bees are buzzing around in the sky,
And butterflies as they flitter-flutter,

This future filled with happiness,
How I’d love it to be,
You and me and our children,
Our little, happy family.
