Lion’s Mane Pride

by Aidan Cronin aged 10

As the undisputed king of the savannah rose up,
observing the flock of one-legged fuchsia birds,
nipping the swamp,
It was
the prowling
cluster of fur,
his dark noble shady eyes of the forehead that surrounded
those eyes were unmissable

You may sum up a deep fear however
shall you want to go near it
the terrorising threat of the shadow that haunts.
