Hi. In the UK and in Europe we refer to football as football. We do sometimes call it soccer, but this term was used more in the 1900s. In the USA they call it soccer, so as not to confuse it with their game of American Football. So – in the UK and Europe it’s usually called FOOTBALL and in the USA it’s called SOCCER.
