Greek Gods, powerful Gods,
Zeus was the one who threw lightening rods,
Hades ruled the underworld,
Poseidon’s tail was always curled,
When he got angry he would make the ground shake,
Creating a humongous earthquake.
Hera had a lonely life
When Zeus went to Earth,
To see other women,
He is so in trouble!
Zeus had a daughter called Aphrodite,
A beautiful goddess was she,
Apollo, Athena, Hermes,
To mention only three.
Zeus’s father Cronus,
Ate his siblings whole,
But by the time Zeus was born,
His mother grew very clever,
She had Zeus in secret,
And made him eat a stone
So that Zeus could take the throne.
And Zeus was king of the Gods for many years on.
