Lee

by Harshita Das aged 11

There was someone
Known famously as Lee
He was extremely funny
As you are to see

He’d wear his shirt upside down
Have an umbrella for a hat
And take the balloon
And start hitting it with a bat

Then he’d take the table cloth
And wear it as a cloth
And take bows and frills
And put a sweet little froth

He’d rather take paper
Then noodles or ice-cream
And apparently being sick
Gives him a lot of beam

Then he’d be dancing
A tap dance, no one’s ever heard
And sometimes, the stupidest boy in the class
Pretend to be a nerd

Everyone likes him, everyone loves him
He makes life lovely at school
As long as you’re not the teacher
Or you’d feel like a complete fool
