Last Night I Saw the Stadium

by Kenzie Coulson aged 10

Last night I saw the stadium dancing
Chairs clapping
Hotdogs waving
Balls back flipping prancing around

Last night I saw the stadium cheering
Flags waving encouraging goals
Shirts celebrating bright and colourful
Tunnel doors applauding players heartily

Last night I saw the stadium starving
Goals eating the balls hungrily
As the pitch nibbled the studs
Ravenous bins greedily munching

Last night I saw the stadium sleeping
Tired pitch snuggling up under the cover
Turnstiles finally stop rotating and doze off
High flood lights worn out shut their eyes and nap
