I may be young, and not know much,
But I still see the world, and how such
Great ideas are left unsaid
Because I’m told I don’t understand yet
We want to help, but what can we do?
Some children aren’t even allowed to choose
Who they are and who they love
All because they “Haven’t lived long enough”
The world you’re destroying will be ours to inhabit
So if you will, please spare a moment,
If you let your ignorance run wild
How will the world look when I’m not just a child?
