One night Santa and his wonderful elves
were crawling down a special chimney
that was a girl’s house
Her name was Annabella Tanko
who was on the very special list!
Santa was supposed to sprinkle
some magic dust on her
so she wouldn’t wake up
but he forgot!

So Annabella woke up at the middle of the night
and saw Santa Claus
She was excited, happy and energised
she couldn’t sleep
so she went up to Mr Clause
and Mr Claus said
Oh no, in a quiet voice so her parents wouldn’t awake
He told Annabella to keep quiet
Annabella said okey dokey.
Come with me, said Santa
in a mouse voice
Okay – but where?
To join the reindeers
and fly around all of the houses
and leave some toys

And so Annabella flew with Santa
and got home at 6:24
as it was getting light
Annabella went to sleep
and started to snore
What an exciting night
