Jade Carter

by Jade Elsbieta Carter aged 8

My hair is like a clam on the beach
My skin is as soft as the hot sand
My lips are as red as a crab crawling on the beach
My nose is like a rock at the bottom of the sea
My eyes are like the beautiful Indian Ocean
My teeth are like razor clams cutting up fish tails
My arms are like fins floating in the sea
My legs are as smooth as seaweed floating on the surface
I live in the ocean across the world
And I eat sharks swimming in the deep

Great poem Jade. I think this will be added to little Jack’s bedtime reading list!
