If the Virus Could Sing

by Millie Q aged 9

My name is COVID19, my oh my
The media really loves me, don’t know why
Everyone googles ’bout me, every night
Some masks they try to stop me, they can try.

Yea, I know that I’m scary,
But you can avoid me,
With good sanitation,
You don’t need to worry.

Humans hate on me
But I’m not the one who is racist here,
Yea cuz, I don’t care if you’re Chinese,
Or you are British.
I just realised that I’m washing my hands,
Now its time to say goodbye!

(Me)
Yea, please go away you nasty bug.
No one likes you and us humans
Don’t deserve to be stuck in quarantine
For your own selfish needs.
