Home

by Lauren Koch aged 14

Everybody always says that when they grow up they want a big fancy car,
Or maybe to travel real, real far,
But I don’t won’t those things,
Or a big old fancy ring,
I just want to make you smile,
Or maybe make you laugh for a little while.
I just want to be with you to watch the night end,
Or in the morning each day begin,
Because your love means more to me
Than any of these fancy things.
