A rocket,

mankind.
The ship descended to the moon,
landing with a final “ker-plunk”.
It was then that the door opened,
a foot,
the foot of an astronaut
stepped out,
and the first step on the moon
was made.
History,
in those fragile, precious seconds,
had been created.
