Haunted School

by Atifa Ally aged 9

Children were working hard in maths.

Suddenly in a ran a soft, squeaky mouse

running through some children.

The whiteboard winced, children gaped.

The mouse looked like a grape.

Suddenly I was out in the playground.

I froze in fear like when it’s an emergency.

I saw something shivering in the bush.

It was a baby guinea pig

I was thinking she might be lost.

I went back home and looked after her.
