Harvest

by Lucas Varney aged 9

Hay as yellow as a star in the night sky.

Autumn as cold as the North Pole.

Red bouncy balls falling from the trees.

Vegetables breaking free from their dirty abode.

Edible orange swords stuck in the ground.

Sweetcorn as yellow as a chick.

Trees as tall as mountains.

It’s Harvest time.
