Halloweening

by Ksusha Lowry-Neufeld aged 11

Dry leaves falling.
Corn stalks rustling.
Black cats slinking.
Big bats screeching.
Scarecrows flapping.
Vampires sucking.
Fall wind blowing.
Kids trick or treating.
Wicked witches cackling.
Jack o’ lanterns glowing.
Green goblins flying.
Parents pumpkin carving.
Treat bags overflowing.
Wailing ghosts haunting.
Skeletons rattling.

I . . . hope . . . I . . . get . . . home . . . alive.
