Everybody’s Equal

by Amelia Chapman aged 9

A person’s not an object
Nor just a name
Everybody’s equal
So treat them just the same

Words can’t be deleted
They stick to you like glue
Everybody’s equal
Treat them as if they’re you

A bruise may seem to disappear
But it walks into your heart
Everybody’s equal
Not just a part

I really like this. Equality is a message that should be understood and I really like the repetitive “everybody’s equal” in line 3 of each verse.
