what a loud-stomper out of haven with no rotation.

Lost in the sound of the Asian –
emperors these shape-shifters are sure noise-makers
but you’ll only ever hear a bird-whistler
or a hungry-muncher and sometimes (only sometimes)
an actual elephant

Even this jungle-warrior is a life-risker
for when its newborn is by its side it’s a calf-saver,
but if something goes wrong
there’s always a compassion-giver
and in the end they’re always together.
