Elephant

by Elsie aged 12

The elephant stands next to the river with its long trunk,
Its trunk that sways too and fro,
And sucks the river up.
Its ears fall in front of its face,
With their flappiness and waving.
The elephant lifts its trunk high in the air,
And the water shoots up
And it goes everywhere!
Like a fountain,
It flies as high as a mountain.
Elephant.
