Eerie Darkness

Eerie Darkness

I peer through the eerie darkness,
“You’re being silly!” says my mistress.

The wolf looks at the moon shining brightly,
wondering if he can bite me, squeeze me tightly.

Creak of the door and the rumble of the floorboards,
whisper of the dark lords

The Grim Reaper in my face,
my fear it can trace.

But most of all the thought of you getting hurt
makes me tremble in terror, it turns me into dirt.
