Earth

by Elma aged 9

The sky is blue
And our eyes are too
I think my dreams
Are coming alive for you

The sun is yellow
And the path is narrow
The wind is blowing
And the petals are flowing

The grass is green
And the window is clean
I cannot see
The bees flying above the sea

The roses are red
Our love has spread.

Here’s a poetry tip for you, Elma. To make your last verse match the others, so they are all four lines long. And to round the poem off. A trick is to end with the first two lines repeated. So your lat line could be, The roses are red/Our love has spread, The sky is blue, and our eyes are too.
