I prepared a time machine,
It is the colour green,
So, I ride to the future,
But it was a complete disaster.
Instead of going to the future,
It went to the past,
My head started to stir,
300 BC I surpassed.
Now 270 BC I surpassed,
It was pollution free,
I was happy,
I parked my time machine and drank my coffee.
Where am I?
I found myself in palace,
There was a guy.
Who was dressed in an ancient way?
He was the great emperor Ashoka
He gave me fruits,
There were mangoes and oranges and sapotas,
And gave me an ancient suit.
I wrote an account,
On an elephant he made me mount,
And I came back to the place where I parked the time machine,
It was grand and looked like a queen,
{The Indians decorated it}
And I came back in my time.
I sold the account,
For a discount,
And was given a prize,
And they called me “Wise”
Maybe after all, my disastrous trip,
Wasn’t a failure, was it?
