Cycle of Seasons

by Bilal aged 11

As winter quietly goes by,
Animals greet autumn’s sigh.
When birds take flight in the sky,
Flies find new ways to pass the time.

As the heat intensifies and grows,
The lion roars, and summer glows.
People long for a breeze,
But not enough to make them freeze.

Summer finishes in a flash,
And winter begins its reign at last.
Coats come out for snow and rain,
Nature’s cycle starts again.

Spring arrives with flowers bright,
Bringing warmth and pure delight.
Nature wakes from its slumber long,
And birds return with cheerful songs.
