Cupcakes

by Jessica aged 11

Always in my free time
I love to make cupcakes.
The Icing, the filling in
The middle and the eating
At the end.
I love all of it.

I would rush down to the
Kitchen THUMP,
THUMP, THUMP.
Pull out the pots and pans drawer
And dig my hand right in
To the weigher thing
At the back.
Pull out the flour and all
The other ingredients
And mix them all together

Climb up on the marble top counter to
Reach for the little cupcakes cases
Jump down and fill up the little cases

As they are in the the oven
I sit back and relax,
Then the oven dings!
I Rush over to take the cupcakes
Out of the oven.
Yummy
CUPCAKES!

Hi Jessica. Love the poem. But you didn’t quite finish it. So I’ve finished it for you. Hope you like it.
