Crystal Colours

by Anna Golding aged 11

When the sunshine came,
I went red like flame.
So very high,
I burned the sky.
I shimmer and shine,
I’m smoother than twine.
My edges rimmed colour gold,
My pinks and purples are bold.
My mirage of colours swim together,
In a stream of colours entwined forever.
