The Creature

by Samuel aged 13

It was damp and dark,
the wind rustling against my arms,
then boom, I saw the terrifying creature
staring right at me.
Its bright blue eyes,
its nasty fangs,
the hideous ears,
what more would a child want to have
as a monster.
There was nothing worse.
It would make you spend hours working
with no break,
no chance to go to the loo.
And you know who that creature was.
It was my teacher, Miss Patricia Wu.

Very good, Sam. But you need to write your poem out so that it looks like a poem, as I’ve done here for you. Also, I hope you made that teacher’s name up.
