The coronavirus is driving me mad.
Now I have to stay with my mum and my dad.
School is closed; I don’t make a fuss.
What happened for revision for the 11+?
The GCSE and A-Levels; the rain in the drought;
Scores being judged on personal thought.
If I go outside there’s no one there.
Having the army around is very rare.
Going to the restroom 20 times a day –
Washing my hands to shake the virus away.
For Fun, I’m creating buildings with Lego Blocks.
Then creating a puppet show with VERY old socks.
Chat with my teacher using Zoom.
From, of course, a different room.
Then I run off and watch YouTube;
My sister delights in people being a nube.
But remember, I’ll keep up my fitness levels.
Watching Joe Wicks, then running like devils.
Now I’m exhausted, a bit of rest
Will get my brain to be the best!
To avoid my mind being blank,
I scheme up, for my sister; a prank.
Then I clap for our medical team
To thank them for their work supreme.
Masks and sanitizer will do no good.
They’re basically like a permeable hood.
I’m not allowed to go out.
Quarantine eliminates doubt.
The coronavirus in the air; It’s hard to believe
But we’ll soon get a reprieve.
But don’t be worried – we’ll be fine
If you go along the government’s lines
