Hi Carole. Well, there could be many reasons for that. The main one, of course, is that this is a poetry site for 3 – 18 year olds. So, obviously, as you are 54, I wouldn’t put your poem up. Also, although we like to have fun, it is quite a serious site for people who write poetry, and that wasn’t really a poem, was it? And thirdly, we like contributors to use their real names. So I would get back to the controversy you are currently embroiled in, in America, (well, would be if that was your real name) and let us poets and would-be writers get on with doing what we like best. Trying to write poems. And lastly, it’s late and I’m off to bed. Nighty night.

Indeed. It’s the number that determines whether or not you can publish poems in The Poetry Zone.
