Colourful Christmas Tree

by Madeleine aged 9

The tree stands there long and lean
You would gasp if ever to be seen.
Shine shine as you like
Radiant blast way up high.
Ornaments glisten luminously
As my eyes get puzzled confusingly.
Zig zag around the tree
The lights shine amazingly.
Under, the presents stand impatiently
I just want to see them eagerly.
