Colourblind

by Daisy Woods aged 11

You and me,
We can see,
The wonders of the world,
In hundreds of thousands of colours

But for some others the world is not the same.
Black and white, black and white.
Same old, same old.
No magenta, nor cyan, nor turquoise.

Some are colourblind…

So next time you see
the most wonderful of colours,
take a moment,
a minute to be grateful
that you can see colour.
