My Christmas List

Winning Poem

Dear Santa, here’s my Christmas list
I hope you’ll spare time to read this
I don’t wish for stuff or toys of my own
I want those vagabond children to be warm at home

Dear Santa, I hope you’ll see this
It’s not the toy car that will make me feel happy
I hate to see starving children in the street
Will you give them food especially on Christmas Eve?

Dear Santa, I’m writing this to let you know
My mom and dad will buy me new clothes soon
So if you’ve been thinking of buying me clothes
Just give my portion to those who need it most

Dear Santa, I’ve been waiting for a bicycle as my friend has one
I realize there are still much urgent needs for others
I just want the people in this world to be HAPPY
With their families gathering around the Christmas tree

Dear Santa, I know I’ve been good throughout the year
You can ask my mom and dad or brother and sister
This Christmas, I won’t be putting up my stocking
My last wish is for you to make this world a better place
