Christmas is Here

by Christian Mcarthur-Muscroft aged 9

Christmas is here
Lights, Santa, fun and presents
And honestly a load of pheasants
The Grinch is coming, hide your senses
You better not shout, don’t make a sound
Otherwise you won’t be proud
We’ll take all your presents
And swap them for peasants
Is that him standing outside my door?
It’s time to turn on the traps I’m sure
Because if I do, I won’t be sorry
He’ll be running back to his quarry
He’ll never come back because he knows
Christmas is here!
