Changing The Sky By An Inch

by Reyansha Garodia aged 9

If I could restructure the sky,
I’d put up paintings of people who weren’t shy,
I’d talk to the wind, tell it to be calm
I would make the clouds my resting place
Transform them into a car and explore the sky

Skipping and hopping over planes,
Jumping on stars until I wake them up
Bouncing on the moon as if it was a trampoline
I’d rather be a tramp then live on the ground

There is so much to explore in this wonderful sky that we have
Sleep on stars and wake up on clouds
Make sure that I wouldn’t be dreaming
I would never leave this world of ours
That we all forgot to explore

Finally, I would make the night sky grey
So that people get tricked
For all the nasty things that they have done!
