Bro Goes Bye Bye

by Joseph Michael Wisher aged 9

Today my brother got shot,
He was blasted on the dot,
Death is what he got.

A crack in my heart opened wide,
Every family member cried.

Plotting revenge on the man who pulled the trigger,
My hunger for murder is getting bigger and bigger.

I’m going to invade their base,
I’m going to destroy the enemy race.

Hopefully I’m going to live ’til the last battle,
I’ll round up the enemies like they were a herd of cattle.

This poem will not be the last thing I write,
For I have more wars to fight.

Competition Runner Up. No prize I’m afraid. But well done!
