Whenever I get bored in lockdown,
I think, ‘What can I do?’
I sit up and realize that I could do loads,
I just don’t feel good.
I miss my friends,
My teachers,
Oh, and even my worst enemy,
I’d be thrilled to see him again.
The things I could do…
There are endless amounts,
So why do I not do them ?
Well, I know why.
I’d usually have motivation,
That now I do not own.
My friends and family,
The thought of half term,
Was enough to keep me going.
Half term does not happen at home.
Only 4 days of Easter, too.
At school we’d have two weeks.
So I stay bored, wondering when or if
My life will go back to normal.
