Autumn

by Owen Thomas aged 10

Walking through the forest
I see foxes burrowing their way into the earth,
making cozy dens.
I spot birds soaring through trees, feathers dazzling.
The trees sway in the wind,
beautiful leaves fall to the floor
looking like a colourful carpet
of reds, yellows, golds and browns.
Autumn is awesome, full of wonderful sights
bright frosty mornings and dark winter nights!
