There was one day
when I was playing in the street
it was great but my BFF lived close by
she was real shy
then one day a terrible thing happened
she came running to my house
even faster than a mouse
someone decided to buy her house
and they had to say yes
I didn’t know what to do so
I thought and thought
until I saw a trick
then I knew her game
so she had a joke
I did not want to start a fight
so I feel I did right
