Finding the Magic

“Today I found some lost magic –
a twisty-twirly horn
of a unicorn lying at my feet.”

This competition is now closed. The winners will be announced soon.

Win the very best poems of Brian Moses. We have six copies of his lovely, hardback book, Lost Magic, to award as prizes. Simply send us a poem on the theme of finding the magic. Your poem could be about real magic, wizards, elves and fairies; about stage magic – how do you produce a rabbit from a hat? – or about the magic of writing, of reading, of summer, of sunsets. Your poem can be funny, sad or serious, and written in any style.

Write your poem in the competition box below. And make sure you include your email address so that we can contact you if you win. You don’t have to be come from the UK to enter but poems must be in English. And you must be aged between 3 and 18 years old to enter. Poems MUST be your own work.

The six winners, plus the best of the poems entered will be featured here in February. The competition closes on February 1st 2017. Good luck!
