Simple is beauty
Pure, honest, and elegant
But today? It dies.

My World

1
by Mohsin Mehmood

Family symbolise peace and love.
Always accepts and forgives.
My family loves me unconditionally.
I believe family is important all the time.
Loving and forgiving no matter what.
You know they will be there for you forever

Not Worth It

0
by Alexa Dieckman

You have hurt me.
Making me feel useless.
At first making me believe that we could be friends.
Even though I wanted to be more.
Reading through the endless texts.
It gave me a feeling of hope.
But then you stopped speaking to me.
Sending a wave of sadness through me.
Not knowing what I have done wrong.
I still do not know what I did wrong.
I wish you could tell me.
But you have decided to keep me wondering.
Creating deeper cracks in my self-esteem.
One of these days I will break.
If only you could have told me.
You would have lessened the amount of damage.
Lessened the days I felt worthless.
But I also have to thank you.
Leaving me in the dark, saved me.
Telling me that you are not worth the time.
Not worth my friendship.

A Girl Once Stargazed

2
by Ashwin Gohil

A million lives above her,
A thousand, gleaming things.
Luminous, outstanding, radiant, ablaze,
Such mysterious, ruling Kings.

An expedition from A to B,
One so far you’ll never get to see,
Some crash, some swerve, some dodge, some spin,
What funny weird shapes they can be!

The girl starts to run.
Among the wildest of thoughts,
But why is the girl so scared, and delicate, and touched?
A bright star is winking at her –
Or at least just bright enough for her to realise.

I Am a Ghost

2
by Jade Smith

I am a ghost;
I am a ghost of a girl that I was before,
Once bent now broken.
I am a ghost of a smile that haunts existence,
Once hopeful now lost.
I am a ghost of a once genuine laugh,
I’m at the end of my path.
I am a ghost of society’s production,
Life comes with no instructions.
All my true happiness is dead;
I am dead .
I’ve always been dead.
Just a ghost,
Within my head.

Plagiarism

1
by Amanda

Plagiarism
is a monster
that hides under your bed
and inside your closet
and wakes
to seep your words and sayings.

Plagiarism
is a tornado
that tears apart the countryside
for its own good,
and neglects to think
about all the things
it has demolished.

A man, nervous but calm,
Frustrated about what others might think
Afraid
To speak out

Black Pup

On the road I found a black pup
It was laughing, so I said, Sup
He said I want to rap
To make it on the map
So I thought about picking him up

Books

I went home to read a big book
It was about different types of hook
I found it at the tip
It was near some fresh chips
Reading it made me want to cook
