Love

When I say the words I love you ,
I mean it.
Without you tomorrow isn’t worth the wait.
And even if it did finally arrive,
It ‘s not worth remembering without you.
And it hurts to think I’ve lost you,
Because I need you forever.
I wrote your name in my heart.
Now we both have no choice but to remember,
Every time we said said the three words:
I love you.

This guy has killed lots of people.
He is a killer and a thief.
I know he has an enemy called Catalina.
So what, I still want to marry him.

Clever
Lovely looking
Ambitious
Unlimited, awesome
Determined for money
Elegantly a man I want to marry.

My mom gets mad at me
whenever I go on about Claude
‘cos that’s the guy I want to Marry
and I like him.

He has to be my True Love.

by Chelsea aged 14

On Saturday we went out
holding hands while walking in the forest
talking about nothing school and work
you were 11 I was 10 didn’t know what to think
of a boyfriend no first kiss when will it COME.

deep in thought it happened time was frozen
nothing was there between his eyes and mine we stared
and stared moves his hands down onto my waist and pulls
me close, he closes his eyes and moves forward
I close my eyes I moves forward.

Then we kissed he was slow at first then
he kissed me harder and harder then he moved his
up to my chest and we kept kissing the time stood still
I will never forget the day ….
WE KISSED

My Mum

by Poppy aged 9

my mum is always there
she loves me up to the moon and back and even more
she would say every night to me
and so every night my dream would start off with
what would I do without my mum?
but like every mum you get told off if you’re bad and rewarded if you’re good
but I know deep down she loves me
and she wants me to be the best I can be
I love my mum and I know you do too.

Nothing is Better

Nothing is better than a pillow
of feathers,
Nothing is better than beautiful weather,
Nothing is better than fresh, homemade bread,
made just this morning by my mother instead.
Nothing is better than being cuddled in a rug,
as you kiss your mother, warm in a hug.

Love comes from people

like your mum or dad

or maybe a friend.

Love is good.

I love my family

They’re the best!

Leave Me

2
by Amanda Huang aged 12

You lied to me.
The sting of betrayal a
hard-etched memory,
face burning past a good
101 degrees fahrenheit.
We all know your plant-less pots of
promises and what you did when I
asked you to check the seasoning.
I have nightmares that maybe you won’t get on
the next plane to Angeles or
Seattle, or even the
capital of Antarctica. And I know that I won’t be standing
on the landing, waving
blown-through tissues and screaming wet tears,
for you.
I let you lie to me.
Because it’s a common fact that we all know
the disasters you’ve caused and dreamed of,
and I’ve only been a wilting tree in the
epicenter of your earthquake.
