The Little Bird

3
by Anayah Khan aged 6

The little bird played on the shrub,
then he went to the swimming club.
He always slept on the couch
with his wide open mouth.
He liked to eat sunflower seeds
with his friends, the yummiest treats.
The little bird enjoyed the dance
and pranced in the street of France.

My Twin

4
by Hanna aged ?

My Twin is called Minnye,
She is very dumb,
She calls a poem a pom,
I want to kill her with a bomb.
She is very annoying,
She always takes my turn on the computer,
I give mummy a ring,
But she says it’s a sibling thing.

Last night she walked in on mummy and daddy
while they were asleep,
I only ask 2 things,
Please post this poem,
Please post Minnye’s poem

I went to Ronald McDonalds
I went to a stable Hayble
I saw a cat hugging a mat
I saw a rabbit having a habit
I went to honey to get some money
I went to bed because I banged my head

Chess

1
by Siddak Jhamat aged 6

Pawn moves first,
Bishop moves next.
Every step is a move.
Every move is a turn.
You take the King, you win!
You take like a maniac and you make your enemy weak.
Only the pawn gets upgraded if it reaches the enemy’s side.
You must swap your pawn for the Queen if it’s been taken.
If the Queen has not been taken you can choose another piece.
In that way, even a small pawn can win the game.

The Xmas Flower Pot

2
by Swannya aged 6

At night you shine so red and bright
your leaves are so glittery and greeny
One day…
you will grow beads on you
and be the prettiest flower ever
Your pretty little nice smell
gather all little bees
and children come and play and sing
Christmas tunes around you happily
