Me and my friends
We can play all day
Even in the spring month of May!
We would go run
On to the yard
into the path
Where we walk
sensibly
When we’re in the
wooden house where we
planted flowers
we will sit down
and then we can go play on the trail!
If we want we can help each other
with the monkey bars!
Then we’ll go down the steps
and run on our yard
To go play football!
Now we are playing..
Who will be in Goal?
I hope we all win
with a draw!
at end the of the game
here’s the score,
It was one all.
And we were all are gone from the score
because we liked it that we
had a draw!
That was fair without a doubt!
And then we were going to
a shout for our tie
for the endgame score!
Some of us wanted to play some more!
but before we did we needed to run!
We had to much fun!

The thunder sparks
Because his parents cry

That is how it is for me
All I do in this lockdown
Is from the support of everyone
I need not to look for any other paradise

Some days during this pandemic were the hardest days
All the bad lucks I skipped
Came back for revenge
And it seems all has turn upside down
Not a single light at the end of the tunnel in this lockdown
I felt like crying
But tears wouldn’t drop
For I have cried all I’ve got already
But when mummy came and consoled, I felt like
I’m already in a paradise

Having friends around in lockdown
Could be so noisy for everywhere is quite
But when they are not there to noisy up everywhere
It looks like an abandoned island
And the only thing that made
It come back to life and turn into
A place where people relax
Was when i get together with
Family and friends and i could feel
I’m already in a paradise

The sweetest moment of all
Is the moment I get to read

And I don’t want any other paradise for

RUNNER UP

Me and my friends
We will lie all day in the sun!
And if we get bored we’ll go
On the monkey bars and help
Each other until we get it right!
Then we’ll run into the field
Go into our school’s trail into
The wooden hut! After

And if we need our water bottles we’ll go get our water bottles
And we will run back in our yard! And sit on the shiny
Green grass and drink our water bottles!
When we’re done we’ll put them away

Go play tennis with the rest of our class!
After we’ve played tennis
We will need to get a drink
And go into the lunch hall
And get our lunch but first
We need to wash our hands
With soap really well so we can have lunch
Now, we can get out our lunch bands
Or we can get our lunch boxes
Now let’s walk sensibly
Into the hall and let’s sit down
We go and collect our lunch and
If we want we can get some salad and bread
And some fruit
Let’s go outside!
Oh! I wanna play basketball!

Me and my Dad
Were very very bad
We stayed up until nine
and we drank red wine!
We ate some sweets
and had quick peeks
We looked up at the sky
And saw some stars
I even thought I saw Mars
Because of the red
It was like a lava bed
Me and my Dad huggled
And we giggled!

We saw some little meteors
When this all happened my Mum was going to sleep
Something in my body felt like I had to leap!
But I did not
I had to be calm
So I could hug my Dad arm to arm
I calmed down my excitement
And felt a little frightened
But the wonderful sight of meteors lit up the sky
Just like my heart.

It has been a lonely time,
I haven’t seen my friends and family and it feels like a crime.
I’m so sad I have run out of time on this competition,
I feel like a really bad spy on a really bad mission.
Why can’t I concentrate on my school work?
WOW, my brother’s always there what a jerk.
I can’t believe I’m always tired,
If there was a job to sleep all day I would definitely be hired.
If that wasn’t enough, if I get moody and tired I will be rough.
It has been a lonely time,

All I do is watch Netflix, I’m loving Riverdale,
I’ll try to stay awake but I really will fail.
I love my family and love my friends

A LONELY TIME, IS A CRIME !

Now we do not go to school and we rule
Then we had to go to school and try not to be a fool
Now we distance and try to make an existence
Then we danced around and had a party
And got really crafty
Now people lie in hospital beds moaning and groaning about their heads
Then not many people in hospital only ones who were not so cool
So here is my poem about then and now
And until things change i would just like to say chow!

I come back from a place,
Untie my shoes and lace,
Wash my hands for twenty seconds,
That’s what the scientist reckons.

Place my backpack away,
Go on my iPad till the end of day,
Tortellini was what I choose,
Then I hear amazing news.

Starting tomorrow, for the next two weeks,
It was so quiet, you could hear mice’s squeaks,
I got to go school I was so happy,
I was too excited, I started to get yappie.

The next day at school was so joyful,
When we could play, I was too playful,
I got too see all my best friends again,
Too bad I won’t get license with a pen.

But when the weeks were over,
My heart sank like the wrong lover,
Then my mom told me about summer school,
Then I knew that COVID was starting to end,
Because that is the rule.

When we meet again
we will open the book
and enter the map inside,
pretending we’re explorers,
and we’ll travel through eras,
reaching the cretaceous period
on our bunk bed time machine.

We will create monsters in our science labs,
sleep in curled balls as wolves,
and build shelters in the blanket-cosiness
of granny’s airing cupboard,
pillow fight in the dark,
and watch the Simpsons,
laughing like dolphins.

We will be shop owners,
selling our paintings and
wide range of luxurious cordials.
Biscuits and tea will be served
in the café section.

When we meet again,
we will be happy.

A big conga line,
Was our favourite game,
Yes I see them online,
But it is not the same.

Time is becoming ancient,
The days are passing by,
I’m was gonna stop being patient,
But now I’m thinking why.

The time will come,
When i will see the again,
And I still do see some,
And some love I still gain.

I will be happy,
When the time comes
But for now now,
I’ll stick with math sums.

In the light of troubles we have today
There’s just a few things I want to say
Although the days feel long
Together as a country we stand strong
Share your kindness and your love
It’s not time to be mean, push or shove
Hold on to your loved ones, hold them tight
Follow the rules and do what’s right
Spend the precious time with your family
Read, watch TV, play games and don’t be silly
Take time to enjoy all the little things
The small things and all the pleasure it brings
But most importantly of all
Stay safe, be strong and we shall not fall
